I am a journalist, editor, photographer and videographer.
I have a track record of uncovering controversial issues and effectively communicating complex technical subjects. I have sparked conversations about the representation of minorities and raised questions about government action through my work.
ABOUT ME
Raised in Brampton, Ontario, I have an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Communication from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Media Communications with an emphasis in journalism from Humber College.
Early in my career, I was the editor-in-chief of the University of Guelph-Humber's newsletter, 18Percent. I also had the chance to gain hands-on experience through internships with CBC News Network and CBC Toronto.
At the end of my four-year program, I worked as an assistant editor at the daily, local news site QuickBite News covering a range of topics from sports to breaking events in my hometown.
In 2020, I accepted the role of assistant editor for Engineering.com, a resource for engineers worldwide. I wrote and hosted their news show, Decoding the Design, which aired online through both video and audio.

I have worked with Global News alongside Carolyn Jarvis' investigative team where we led an investigation into Child Welfare. I also worked with Global News Toronto as an editorial assistant during the election. In addition, I have worked with Rogers Sports and Media’s podcast network as a producer and research assistant.

I then graduated with my Master of Journalism degree from Carleton University. Currently, I am working as a video and radio reporter as well as a sports and weather anchor for Bell Media in Northern B.C.
